Rani is riding high as everyone seems to be going gaga over her, after Saathiya. To top the things she has got a new buddy, yes you got it right, Vivek Oberoi. But who have seen Rani going through her lean phase can vouch that if there was one guy who stood by her in all the tumult was Govinda.

It was only Govinda who agreed to present her in a new avatar (and as his female lead) in his brand of comedies for which Rani was until recently very grateful. And then Shahrukh Khan happened. In a rather sudden turnaround, our light-eyed heroine moved into Badshaah Khan's camp – following the ouster of Juhi Chawla and Aishwarya – and walked out with two plum projects with the Khan.

Now Rani thinks she has struck gold and consequently, has completely disassociated herself from her earlier coterie of friends, including Govinda! So if our chokra from Virar is upset, it`s with good reason. What`s more, even best friend Ash is feeling cheated because Rani walked in without qualms (knowing full well that Ash had been thrown out of the Khan`s home production for no fault of hers, but because Salman had misbehaved with the latter on the sets). But for Ms. Mukherjee, as long as there are roles happening ensuring her some more longevity in fickle Bollywood, what does she care about fundamentals such as morality and ethics?
